Never in the history of the world has any soldier sacrificed more for the freedom and liberty of total strangers than the American soldier. And, our soldiers don't just give freedom abroad, they preserve it for us here at home.

For it has been said so truthfully that it is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us the freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech.

It is the soldier, not the agitator, who has given us the freedom to protest.

It is the soldier who salutes the flag, serves beneath the flag, whose coffin is draped by the flag, who gives that protester the freedom to abuse and burn that flag.

WOW!!!! This is such an amazing shot!!! It's so clean and crisp and displays ol' glory so well!!! Love your message on a soldier sacrificed!!! Definitely a fav!
indeed, darling. preservation of our freedom if very important. I love the photo-it is great to see a flag in such a different way (i have rarely seen it photographed in such a manor.)

Art is the desire of man to express himself
To record the reactions of his personality
To the world he lives in.

I like the shot its a good perspective on the flag.... whilst I and/or many others may disagree with certain US foreign deployments I do try to keep a certain level of respect for any soldiers following through those policies no matter how many of them are caught urinating on iraqi prisoners.

Artwork that is only about wanting to be famous will never make you famous. Any fame is a by-product of making something that means something. You don't go to a restaurant and order a meal because you want to have a shit.
